How to Give

Build Together is a comprehensive and bold strategic initiative to rebuild Israeli communities in the Israel Envelope – communities on the border with Gaza – and provide the infrastructure and quality of life needed to allow residents to feel safe coming home.

Our work includes:

•Supporting the immediate and long-term security needs of each of the Israel Envelope communities, working with them to set priorities.

•Collaborating with leading housing developers and construction firms to rebuild communities with modern, sustainable, environmentally sound techniques.

•A commitment to economic growth with incentives to small businesses and farmers, including loans and venture capital funds for startups, as well as training, tourism, development, job placement, and infrastructure.

•A commitment to the people through education, psychology/therapy resources, community programs, and facilities.

•Developing civil defense security systems in each community, including volunteer fire and rescue services, equipment, and training with IT communications systems.

•Sending volunteers from around the world to build on the spirit of Zionism, and do hands-on projects.

•Providing state-of-the-art, efficient power, water, and transportation systems, including solar and water recycling systems.

•Providing resilience and social services, programming, personnel, and facilities.

In the wake of the unprecedented, unprovoked, and horrific attacks by Hamas from Gaza on civilian communities in Israel, we are all devastated by the loss of life, and are praying for the families of the victims, the IDF soldiers who are bravely working to defend our homeland, our friends and family, and everyone impacted by this situation.

We were there yesterday, we are there today, and we will be there tomorrow. Jewish National Fund-USA has worked in close partnership for decades with all the communities on the Gaza border and is uniquely prepared to assist in meeting the emergency needs created by the current crisis and the real, long-term needs of tomorrow.
